question to any of you here who are Bahamas fans.. my husband's old Aloha 24 has a draft of 5'6" and after reading travel stories in the Bahamas, whether or not my boat is too deep got me thinking. i know it may take years to get ready for repair and changes or maybe i need a much shallow keel. what are your opinions on this? THANKS!

I doubt if you'd encounter any problems with your boat. Anchor troubles may possibly occur but your traveling would be good. Your Aloha 34 will be fine in the Bahamas. Although, there may be some areas in the water where ud have 2 wait for the tide to go low and out, but you'd do well!
