What types of boat are the best for sailing?

Catamarans and trimarans can have a speed of 26 knots or 48km/h but there are still faster boats

I forgot to mention that monohulls are faster.

But then again, the types of boat that you can use depend on the type of competition you are in. Some other competitions would let boats of the same design or class race.

But then again, I would say that sailing without pressure and hang ups is better. :)

It seems that you two are having a little debate here... Well, I agree with  both you.
Some people just want being on the water while others want to add up a little spice to their sailing experience and race.
It depends to your choice.
But both will be an equally enjoyable experiences!

You are right there adeguia! looks like our two fellows here have different views on sailing.
Cruising is good but racing may be a good experience too.
