I noticed that everyone seems to look much healthier and vibrant whenever they go living aboard. Is it with the lifestyle, lack of stress, food, fish & fresh vegetables they take? Because the same happens to me. I tried living aboard 3x in my boat and felt that i lost weight and am much more active than ever. No junk foods and any processed food during those days. Have you experienced the same?

No doubt about that. You would definitely experience a change in your health and lifestyle. However, the opposite happened to my parents before! Both of them gained weight when they settled into their houseboat - because of the parties, restaurants, jobs, and many other activities hehe

It was really a big change. :) One time, I wanted to getaway with my job and other stressful activities, so I went on leave and lived aboard for a month. :) It was a relaxing experience. It was surely lucky that I only had a few storm experience on that month. :)

maybe its because people who are engaged in sailing tend to experience more peace of mind. you know, when we are far away from the busy stuffs from the city...our work... our other responsibilities. It's fun when we only got to see the ocean... no deadline.. no rush hours... no bills to pay. It's relaxing and refreshing.

Hi there! May I join your conversation here. Well, it is true that sailing is really a great help. For me, saling is a family matter. Sailing did not only improve our lifestyle but also our relationship as a family during the trip. My relationship with my husband was renewed and my relationship to my kids was refreshed. I think sailing is really a great deal to have quality and quantity time with my family.
