So, talk about nautical sailing terms huh? My first favorite would be.... AWEIGH, meaning to raise the anchor, right?
And the other one would be.... FEELING NAUTi..!
So nautical, isn't it?

I like it when they mention the term "ABREAST" That would mean, two vessels lying with their sides in a parallel direction Another one is "BAGGYWRINKLE" which refers to chafing gear made from old ropes..

I like the terms: 1. EAR-RING: it's the small rope fastened to the cringle in the head of the sail. 2. STEADY: well, it's when the boat is going on its right course off the wind. 3. CHASER: a pursuing vessel. Lastly.. 4. UNDER BARE POLES: it's when the ship doesn't have a sail set...

How about CHASER! It is the small, long range gun mounted in the bow of your ship.
