I think the Virgin Islands is still the top cruising destination because of the consistent trade winds blowing across the water. And not to mention cheap wine and expensive fancy restaurants--everything and anything a sailor could wish for! Where are your other favorite places to sail to?

Try going to the coast of Mozambique and Tanzania in east Africa! It is rarely visited by yachts.. so quiet and serene. Everything there is all beautifully endowed with coral reefs, beaches, hospitable community..and lobster! Try it!

We regularly go to Saba in the Caribbean, that's not so far from the Virgins Islands. There are no anchoring grounds and so the charter boats do not really go there. Go there during a cloudless day, it's so heavenly!
The Azores are lovely islands too, if you do not mind being with other marinas. Ders a fantastic scenery and mostly easy and light winds!
