Hi everyone! I have a couple of concerns since im planning to sail on lakes as my training for sailing around the world.. First, is it better if i get a fixed keel boat or a trailer sailboat for that? Another is that, do you think lake sailing is really a good sailing ground to learn to sail around the world? Or should i just go ocean sailing instead?

We've got the same thoughts my friend!
But I prefer sailing and cruising just nearby and not really in the ocean.
