Nude Sailing
You’ve probably heard about nude swimming or sunbathing nude on the beach to get that perfect tan, but do you know that there’s an even more exciting experience than strutting your stuff on the shore?
Imagine yourself taking a cruise from the great beaches to breathtaking ocean sceneries while enjoying good food and good company; only this time you’re doing it with your clothes off.
That’s exactly what Nude Sailing is all about. The growing popularity of Nude Sailing is not only because of the exciting experience it offers but also due of its accessibility and convenience. Now, you don’t have to go all the way to beaches in Greece or Hawaii or California to strip off in the sun.
The entire point of Nude Sailing is offering a different Sailing experience to adventurous travelers who are looking for a unique ride in the sea. There are many resorts which offer Nude Sailing trips or clothing - optional trips. It can be a day trip for short distance Sailing or as long as 15 days that go across channels and several stopovers in islands and secluded bays.
You can book cruises in large boats where you will join many others who are into exciting and one-of-a-kind trips. Most of these large boat cruises have a daily itinerary and packages include food, lodging, tour guides and sometimes even island accommodation (where you can stay before the trip).
If you’re in for a more intimate Sailing experience, you can also charter a small private boat for you and five to six of your friends. With private boats, you can ask the captain (the only other person aboard the boat) to stop at your preferred site anytime and enjoy a naked swim in the middle of the sea.
Nude charter services differ in every location. While some actually allow you to go naked from the shore until the cruise ends like nude cruises offered in Croatia, others comply with federal rules that apply in their respective locations. In Florida, for example, the law requires you to be clothed until you get over 200 feet away from an island.
Nude Sailing packages for private charters range from around $200 to $400 for half day cruise, depending on the number of people. Whole day cruises cost around $200 to $600. Longer cruises in larger cruise ships are more expensive, costing not less than $1000 per person for a weeklong trip.
