Double Celebration for World Champ Hannah Mills
THURSDAY, 24 AUGUST 2006
The 18-year-old Hannah Mills is the newly crowned world champion after winning the mixed Junior European Championship with crewmate Peggy Webster.
Mills had two reasons to celebrate, one is for winning the title and second is for having an A-level grades which according to her is what she needed to bring her to Bristol University. “It was great news, but getting my results was pretty nerve-wracking”, said Mills.
Mills and Webster were competing in Portugal as the new 420 Ladies world champs after their nail-biting Canary Islands' success over 12 races at Las Palmas earlier this month.
