Freddie Connor Wins National Title

Freddie Connor wins the Irish National Topper Championship. The rising star from Bexhill Sailing Club gained 16 points over three days of competition to win by two from home competitor Chris Penny.
Freddie achieved two wins, three seconds, a third, a fifth, and a black flag from the eight races in which he competed at Wexford Sailing Club. He also finished ninth in the World Championship and 16th in the British Championship this summer in addition to leading the South East Championship.
Freddie and the rest of St Bede’s School pupil will come back in the national squad next year.
