Malta Sailing Championship 2006

The three days event for Malta Dinghy Sailing Championship started yesterday at Sliema, Malta. The said event is organized annually by the Malta Sailing Federation and this year's event is being hosted by the Royal Malta Yacht Club.
Nine races are planned to take place over for three days and exact lay-out of the course will depend on the wind direction. Malta's geographical position as an island surrounded by the Mediterranean offers a wonderful environment for sailing. Prize giving ceremony will take place on Sunday at the Royal Malta Yacht Club at Fort Manoel.
