US Championship of Champions Starts Today

The US SAILING's Championship of Champions will start today at Grande Maumelle Sailing Club in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The race gathers 20 qualified one-design class champions who sail in the US and is a member of US Sailing and its affiliates. The race is limited to 20 class champions who were nominated by their class associations, and duly selected by the US SAILING. C-Scow national champion August Barkow, 13-year-old Flying Scot Junior champion Mac Cady, and Etchells World champion Bill Mauk are among the contenders in Y-flyers for the US SAILING's Jack Brown trophy.
The US Championship of Champions will end on October 28. Started in 1976, it is a part of the US SAILING's National Adult Championships series.
