Sailing, a New Trend among Israelis
  Sailing, a New Trend among Israelis A new trend is taking place among Israelis, and it’s the growing interest in the sport of sailing. This is according to www.israeltoday.co.il. The Transport Ministry's Shipping and Ports Authority released a recent data showing that there are over 100,000 registered yachtsmen and 2,715 registered yachts in Israel. The number of yachts in Israel has increased by 268 percent in 12 years.

Mount Dora Regatta Set this Weekend
  Mount Dora Regatta Set this Weekend The Mount Dora Yacht Club will be hosting the 54th annual Sailing Regatta this coming weekend at Lake Dora. The regatta consists of three courses set for one-design classes and single-and multi-hull open classes.   US Sailing Releases Championships Schedule        The 2007 schedule for the Adult and Youth National Championships has been decided by the US Sailing. Starting on March until December, US Sailing will be hosting 18 events across the United States. Advanced racing clinics will be provided in most of the events. Young Sailor Receives National Sportsmanship Award
  Young Sailor Receives National Sportsmanship Award Fourteen-year old J.D. Reddaway of Suwanee, Georgia is this year's recipient of the W. Van Alan Clark Jr. Trophy, a National Sportsmanship award given by US Sailing. He is the youngest-ever recipient of the trophy in its 20-year history.
