ISAF Women's Match Racing World Championship

TUESDAY, 27 MARCH 2007

French sailor Claire Levoy who is number one in the Women's ISAF World Match Race Rankings is the front runner in this year's ISAF Women's Match Racing World Championships.

Dorte Jensen of Denmark, the reigning world champion, will be having a maternity leave. This makes Leroy the favorite sailor to win the championship title. This year, 12 skippers from nine nations will be competing for the championship title. They include Lotte Meldgaard Pedersen, Klaartje Zuiberbaan, Jenny Axhede, and Gemma Farrell.

The 2007 ISAF Women's Match Racing world Championship will be held at the Sport Nautique de Saint Quay-Portrieux in France.
