  Melbourne Loses Volvo Ocean Race Bid Melbourne, through the Victorian Major Events Company (VMEC), had lost a bid to host a stopover for the Volvo Ocean 2008-2009 race. Prince Philip's Sea Racer Restored
  Prince Philip's Sea Racer Restored Bloodhound, the 63-feet vessel which was a favorite of Prince Philip, has been restored to her former glory. About a million pounds has been spent to restore the vessel. Four years ago, yacht surveyor Tony McGrail bought the vessel, and then undertook the restoration project.   Sailing World Championships Just a Month Away The ISAF Sailing World Championships is now just a month away.
