Fuel cell firm Voller Energy has joined forces with the National Lottery to offer the winners of the Love UK National Lottery competition a day's sailing onboard the Beneteau Oceanis 411 Emerald.
The Love UK competition was introduced by the National Lottery to highlight the effect the body's charitable funding has had on the country.
As sailing - which receives financial backing from the lottery - has a strong track record of delivering Olympic medals, competition winners will be treated to a VIP day with the Emerald team during Skandia Cowes Week in order to observe the funding's impact at close quarters.
They will also be privy to the latest fuel cell technology, as Voller has equipped the Emerald with a fuel cell generator which ensures continuous power.
"We are delighted to welcome onboard the winners of the 'Love UK' competition," commented Voller's chief executive Stephen Voller.
"Being onboard Emerald for the day will give them the perfect opportunity to view some of the exciting racing taking place at Skandia Cowes Week."
