Offshore Sailing School Debut Hunter 49
TUESDAY, 28 AUGUST 2007
In keeping with its mantra to be the first with innovative new training boats and materials, Offshore Sailing School announced today the addition of the new Hunter 49 to its expanding fleet of training vessels. Touted as the "Queen of the Fleet" in Cruising World's September 2007 edition, this premier yacht will enter the Offshore fleet in the third and fourth quarter of 2007.
Eric Macklin, Marketing Manager for Hunter Marine says the 49 is an extremely durable and versatile platform that will give Offshore's students an opportunity to experience an incredibly productive week and develop their lifelong passion for sailing. Hunter Marine has been an Offshore Sailing School partner, providing new top-of-line yachts each year for all of Offshore's stateside locations.
The 49, a new offering by Glenn Henderson and the Hunter design team, has particularly fine attributes that will provide ultimate comfort for participants in Offshore's Live Aboard Cruising and Bareboat Cruising Preparation courses, including stability and ease of handling features that will allow students to build boat handling confidence quickly while the interior amenities will enhance their comfort and enjoyment underway, according to Macklin. The first 49 will debut at Offshore Sailing School’s St. Petersburg, Florida location in September.
