Top Women Skippers Invited to World Championship |

Following the release of the ISAF World Match Race Rankings, the top 10 women skippers have been invited to compete in the 2008 ISAF Women’s Match Racing World Championship.
The race will be contested in Auckland, New Zealand from April 1-6, 2008. Fourteen skippers will fight for the World Championship Trophy.

2009 America’s Cup at Risk Due to Dispute |

The 2009 America’s Cup may be at risk after Alinghi refused to settle a dispute with rival BMW Oracle Sunday. This sent the case into a potentially drawn-out court battle.
The impasse between the teams and their billionaire owners started when Alinghi won the America’s Cup in July and set rules for the next one which BMW Oracle argued were unfairly slanted in the Swiss team’s favor.
