Olympic Sailing Stars to Get Married in October

Wyke Regis, Weymouth's sailing couple Sarah Ayton and Nick Dempsey will finally be tying the knot after seven years of engagement. The wedding will be held at the Holy Trinity Church in Fleet, to be followed by the reception at the Moonfleet Manor Hotel on October 9.
Ayton, 27, was Yngling world champion. She won gold with Shirley Robertson in the 2004 Athens Olympics. Windsurfer Dempsey, on the other hand, won the bronze in the same event.
The two first met in 1998 while competing in the ISAF Youth World Championships in South Africa. Both were 18 at that time.
