Six Senses Phuket Raceweek 2008 on July 23-27

From July 23 to 27, the waters of Phuket's Phang Nga Bay will be host to the Six Senses Phuket Raceweek 2008. Also dubbed as the "Green Season Regatta", the event will feature over 40 boats under seven different classes. It is organized by Image Asia and supported by the Ao Chaong Yacht Club.
Entrants may register until July 23rd upon submission of a filled-out application form and payment of 8,000 Baht. Covered by the 2005 to 2008 Racing Rules of Sailing, the regatta entrants may either sail by Coastal, Triangle or Windward Course. Trophies await the top three finishers of each class as prizes for the 2008 Phuket Raceweek Series.
The event will kick off with a buffet party at Evason's Into the Beach. Poolside parties, happy hours, and prize-giving events will be held simultaneously throughout the race series. A final party and raceweek series prize-giving ceremony will take place at the Six Senses Resorts and Spas on the 27th.
