No-Boating Buffer Zone
After years of waiting, the new pier at Gulf State Park will soon be open to park visitors with a grand opening scheduled for Thursday July 23, 2009. B.B. Comer Boat Ramp Closing for Repairs
The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources' Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division will be closing its public boat ramp at B.B. Comer Bridge (Hwy. 35) on Lake Guntersville in Jackson County from Monday, July 27 through Thursday, July 30 for renovations. The ramp will be re-opened on the morning of Friday, July 31.
